La charte d'interface rassemble la charte ergonomique la charte graphique d'une interface

It is essential to deliver the tools necessary to implement and deploy a product/service to the people in charge of its development. These tools are grouped in a document that we call “user interface guidelines” (usability + visual guidelines).

This document allows developers to build a consistent user interface.
This detailed guidelines document specifies the interface concept in terms of:
- interaction and system behavior;
- navigational structure (usability, levels);
- screen organization (user interface guidelines, screen setup, menus);
- shortcuts;
- visual style (graphical guidelines, colors, typeface);
- visual elements (icons, images, illustrations);
- online help systems and so on
This document is most of the time associated to a number of deliverables that allow to implement the interface, meaning digital files in vector or bitmap format, customized components and so on. All this can be delivered in various formats (Adobe, Microsoft), representing state of the art in the user interface development domain.

This tool also has a facilitating role, in the sense that during the product/service conception phase all participants are invited to contribute to the elaboration of a guidelines document, assuring its smoother adoption later on.
